Welcome to Champ Giraud. The property sits in an acre of garden and is a short distance from the historic village of Verteuil-sur-Charente, in the sunny department of Charente. We are in a tranquil location surrounded by fields of maize and sunflowers. Quiet lanes and woods by us are ideal for walking or cycling to spot the wide variety of wildlife and birds.
The pretty 2 bedroom Sunrise and Sunset cottages are at each end of the property and either side of our house. Both cottages sleep up to 5. There is an above ground pool in the large garden for a refreshing dip on those long, hot summer days. Relax outside with a glass of wine on a warm summer evening and enjoy the spectacular night skies. Why not book both cottages for a holiday with friends or family!
At Champ Giraud we also offer the opportunity for you to attend art courses, ranging from painting and drawing to ceramics, sculpture and textiles, with local artists Nichollas Hamper and Jane Courquin at their lovely home in the village.
